Are you a Senior Electrical Engineer looking to work on building projects that can change the world, projects that are always more complex and innovative than the last?
We are looking for enthusiastic and suitably experienced Senior Electrical Engineers, being client focused is an essential attribute and you will be able to demonstrate solid experience of working in a design capacity and good working knowledge of building services installations. Working as part of a team you will be expected to manage your own work and undertake detailed design to the required standards.
If so, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Liverpool to work on multidisciplinary projects. You will be joining a team of like-minded experts that have a passion for innovation and delivering cutting edge solutions. Our team in Liverpool are closely linked to our main regional team in Manchester and support each other in regional and national project delivery.

Job Responsibilities: At AECOM we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company, for this role we believe your starting point is:
To take a key role representing AECOM on MEP projects, leading your own discipline and also managing engineers of a complementary discipline
Able to work using your own initiative with minimal supervision on all technical aspects of your electrical discipline or have specific specialist experience applicable to the role.
Complete detailed designs and support the work of others in this function.
Prepare specifications, schedules, drawings, and other contract documents through the RIBA project stages.
Attend project and client meetings on behalf of AECOM.
Demonstrate good attention to detail and show pride in the work produced.
Have an ability to inspire confidence in team members and then use this to strengthen team relationships.
To mentor and assist with the development of junior engineers
Manage your own time on projects to suit deadlines and complete your assigned tasks
To have a strong interest in or experience using digital and parametric design tools.
You will need to be from a consultancy or client organisation with the ability to design and deliver Building Services projects.
Minimum Requirements:
Relevant experience in design and delivery of projects within the consulting industry (preferable)
Work experience within a similar consultancy or other relevant business
Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English, able to inspire, influence and negotiate.
Available to make decisions, act on own initiative and operate in a pro-active way
Experience of seeing conceptual designs through to completion
Experience in working knowledge of REVIT / CAD is preferred
