Starting Salary: £13.00 per hour + overtime & attendance bonus!
Working hours: Regular Day Shift, 8am to 5pm or 6am to 3pm Monday to Friday.
This is a 12 week Temp to Perm position.
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing and materials handling environment. This role requires a valid FLT Counterbalance licence and a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate machinery and support production processes to meet daily output targets
- Safely use a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) to move, load, and unload materials and finished products
- Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
- Support general site operations including housekeeping and material handling
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain smooth production flow
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times
- Report any faults, hazards, or production issues to supervisors promptly
- Valid FLT Counterbalance licence (essential)
- Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, or industrial environment (preferred)
- Good awareness of health & safety practices
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to take on varied tasks
- Physically fit due to the nature of the role
- A proactive and safety-conscious attitude
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
