Housing Support Worker

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Housing Support Worker to join a Housing Association in the Leicester area on an ongoing temporary basis. This role is community based and requires a Drivers Licence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred support to individuals with multiple and complex needs.
- Provide short-term caseload cover during staff absence or increased service demand.
- Support service users to achieve goals within their support plans.
- Deliver drop-in sessions, group activities and resident meetings.
- Encourage independent living skills including budgeting, tenancy management and interpersonal skills.
- Support residents to access education, training, employment and community opportunities.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting people with multiple and complex needs.
- Ability to build positive and empowering relationships with vulnerable adults.
- Experience of support planning, outcome monitoring and resident engagement.
- Good understanding of safeguarding and reporting procedures.
